Log Version 1.0
(C) 1993 DJS Software
User's Manual
Log is a utility that keeps track of the number of times your computer
boots off of a disk. This could mean the hard disk, or a floppy.
In reality, Log just keeps track of the number of times your AUTOEXEC.BAT
file had been executed. The program makes a list of the date and time of
each boot on a file called LOG.TXT
Log will keep adding records to the file until you delete it. To view the
record list, you can use and ASCII file view or editor, or you can use the
DOS TYPE command.
The record file LOG.TXT will be created on the default directory whenever
Log is run. It is usually best to put LOG.EXE on the root directory of the
boot disk. The record file will be in the same directory.
This Program Is Not Free
------------------------
Log.Exe is not a free program. You can use it as long as you want, but the
log entries in the file LOG.TXT will not have a date or time. The entries
will simply remind you that they were created by an unregistered version of
the program.
To obtain a registered version of Log :
---------------------------------------
Print out the REGISTER.TXT file and fill it out. Send it along with $5.00
check or cash to :
David J. Schraff
3980 W. 212 Street
Fairview Park, Ohio
44126
You will recieve a registered copy along with the necessary changes.
WARNING!!!
----------
Hacked software is becoming more abundant each day. To make sure that this
unregistered copy of LOG.EXE is not a hack, check the byte size. If the
program is 20982 bytes, you have a pure copy. If the conditions are
otherwise, I suggest you avoid using it.
